Our Story
Have you ever stepped into a garden centre and felt the outside world soften?
That’s the heart of Trevallan.
Nestled quietly on a corner in Brassall, Trevallan Lifestyle Centre began in 1998 when Trevor and Carolyn Allan purchased what was then Weona Garden Centre. With strong foundations in landscaping and horticulture, their vision was never to create a standard retail nursery. They wanted a space that felt like a garden, layered, evolving, immersive.
Trevor had built Trevallan Landscapes into a respected name across Queensland, designing and constructing gardens from the Atherton Tableland to the Gold Coast. Carolyn, an astute plantswoman with a background in teaching, brought knowledge, practicality and warmth to every interaction.
When Trevor passed away unexpectedly in 2000, the business faced its greatest storm. But like all resilient gardens, Trevallan endured, reshaped and continued to grow.
Over the years, the space has evolved into more than a nursery. Today you’ll find indoor plants and rare finds alongside classical shrubs, natives, flowers and seasonal seedlings. Non-hybrid seeds sit beside artisan furniture, thoughtful homewares and carefully chosen aromatherapy products. Workshops, visiting speakers and community gatherings now weave through the calendar.
Trevallan was never meant to be just a place to buy plants.
It was always meant to transport you.
To inspire you.
To remind you that gardens are living, breathing sanctuaries and that you can create one of your own.
